Teachers wishing to become examiners are welcome to register with us.
Apply to become a Cambridge, Edexcel, or IB examiner by registering on their respective official “Assessment Specialist” portals, often requiring a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of recent teaching experience, and subject expertise.
Our AI training programKey roles include marking, moderation, and speaking assessments, often utilizing online systems like RM Assessor. All IB Examiner applications must be supported by a minimum of three professional references.
We are inviting applications for Speaking Examiners from qualified teachers who are willing to work in our centres in Dhaka.
Cambridge International Education (CAIE) – A/O Level
- Cambridge International Education (CAIE) – A/O Level
- Requirements: A degree in the subject, a recognized teaching qualification, and substantial recent teaching experience (ideally ~1800+ hours).
- Process: Apply via the Cambridge Examiner website. Roles include Assistant Examiner (marking) or Speaking Examiner.
- Method: Most, particularly IGCSE/A-Level papers, are marked online.
- Local Application: If applying as a Speaking Examiner, you may need to contact your local British Council office.
Edexcel – IGCSE/International AS/A Level (IAL)
- Pearson Edexcel – IGCSE/International A Level
- Requirements: A degree and a teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). You must have at least one year of teaching experience in the subject within the last 8 years.
- Process: Register on the Edexcel Gateway.
- Graduate Markers: Recent graduates within 5 years or final year students can apply for specialized, often online, marker roles. Pearson qualifications | Edexcel and BTEC | Pearson qualifications +4
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- International Baccalaureate (IB) – DP/MYP
- Requirements: A degree in the subject and at least one year of experience teaching the subject at the relevant age level (16–19 for Diploma Programme).
- Process: Apply via the IB website. You must submit references, ideally from an IB Coordinator.
- Training: Successful applicants must complete induction training before marking.
